His presentation marked the birth of the first ever WhatsApp embedded links case management platform which he recommended for judicial officials and members of the lower bench in Nigeria. The case management system known as ECMS Portals, was an innovation which marveled many stakeholders in the justice administration system. The 5G Virtual Lawyer Office+ and ECSM Portals are not his first innovations in the legal practice world. Prior to the introduction of 5G Virtual Law Office+ and ECSM Portals in legal practice world, he had invented a strategy to file class actions. In 2016, he "innovatively" filed a class action with novel reliefs strictly on the Electric Power Sector Reform Act, a suit bordering on mass disconnection of electricity supply of the residents of three different estates in Udu, Delta State by the Benin Electricity Distribution Company. The case appeared to be the first on mass disconnection of electricity supply filed strictly on the relevant provisions of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act in Delta State as it took so many lawyers by surprise. The matter was later resolved at the Delta State Multi-Door Court followed by a consent judgement by the High Court of Delta State Agbarho Judicial Division. The settlement did not come on a platter of gold. Teddy Idiabeta, Esq. had applied that the matter be referred to the Delta State Multi-Door Court based on a new approach of practice he brought from Dubai where he had gone to represent his client as an international mediation advocate. This was informed by another novel innovation of his - medpsycholegal analytic trial which was first put to test in the high profile case where he represented his client as a mediation advocate in Dubai in 2017 and 2018. The success in this strategy of lawyering motivated him more to put it into practice in Nigeria which made him to apply that the class action matter be referred the Delta State Multi-Door Court for mediation. He has founded so many non-profit online journals to promote creative practitioner research and has so many research works to his credit. He is an ardent advocate of the use of practitioner research to promote creative self-employment, sustainable development and growth through practitioner research programmes with a culture of innovation and creativity. He holds the view that a praxis researcher is a life time researcher whose duty is to improve the practice of his profession for the benefits of humanity, not necessarily for the award of academic certificates and that such prompted him to embark on his post graduate research without his lecturers knowing his exact intention during his Master's. He is a prospective candidate for visiting professorship in some universities abroad. The 5G Virtual Law Office Hybrid Integrated Website is a novel law office developed to help lawyers in Nigeria and other parts of the world to provide hybrid legal services for their clients in a convenient, cost effective and ethical way. It is the first hybrid model of law office developed during the Covid-19 pandemic in Africa and if it is safe to say, the first social media business platform integrated hybrid law office model in the world. It is an all encompassing law office as it has embedded research and legal resources links as well as global news that makes it a complete hybrid law firm. It puts the end-user in an office environment any where he or she finds himself or herself as a hybrid legal practitioner. All the aesthetic features of a conventional office environment are incorporated in the office. Hence it has been described by many hybrid practice enthusiasts as an amazing model of law office. The product was birthed during the global Covid-19 lockdown by the innovative practitioner research work of his. Thousands of Nigerian lawyers now use the WhatsApp, Facebook and My Google Business models to provide legal services for their clients in a convenient, cost effective and ethical way. This was made possible after the developer had trained over 1000 Nigerian lawyers in the months of April and May 2020 during the global Covid-19 pandemic and later in the month of December when some other Nigerian lawyers were trained on how to use the model of office for online dispute resolution, ODR. At the moment, over 300 Nigerian lawyers are undergoing a training on how to use model in their pursuit to become hybrid legal practitioners who are prepared to take the legal profession to a new level. Prior to the introduction of the novel model of law practice, most Nigerian lawyers never knew it was possible to use WhatsApp video call for virtual witness deposition on oath let alone its use as a hybrid law firm with embedded and connected office reception, principal's office, board room/conference room, virtual library, law directory, client portal, data protection portal, etc. But the training the end-users of 5G Virtual Law Office+ WhatsApp version underwent in 2020 proved it was not only possible but also, convenient, lawfully cost effective and ethically possible. As it is no longer disputed that hybrid legal practice is the future of the legal profession, taken into account the global Covid-19 disruptive realities and how technology came to its rescue in the legal practice world, the 5G Virtual Law Office Hybrid Integrated Website developer strongly believes that the model of law office will remain one of the best things to have happened to the legal profession in recent times, not just in Nigeria but all over world. It is estimated that over 5000 Nigerian lawyers now use the model of law office. The founder has projected that by 2030 over 30 thousand Nigerian lawyers and lawyers from different parts of the world will have signed up for its use. The legalization of the model started with the quest by the developer to promote virtual filing, virtual service of originating processes, virtual witness deposition on oath and virtual hearing during the global Covid-19 lockdown in which regulations were later made by different stakeholders in the judiciary across the world as way of keeping the courts open for litigants and prospective litigants. The developer first tested the live legal efficacy of the WhatsApp Business version of the law office when he used it for virtual witness deposition on oath and virtual service of originating processes vide the WhatsApp contacts of the adverse party in a highly contentious matter for which he was representing a South Africa based Nigerian client as the global Covid-19 pandemic made it impossible for the South African based Nigerian to come to Nigeria for his case. To enable his client to have access to the court despite his inability to come to Nigeria because of the global Covid-19 movement restrictions, the developer had to file on behalf of his client and relied on the global Covid-19 pandemic directives issued by the National Judicial Council in May 2020, the rules of court and the 1999 Constitution to file two separate applications in a high court sitting in Warri, one for virtual witness deposition on oath vide the WhatsApp video call feature of the party he was representing and the second, for service of the originating processes on the adverse party in the highly contentious land matter. Both applications were granted and the defendants did file their memorandum of appearance and their relevant processes through a lawyer. The court orders made news headlines within and outside Nigeria as they brought respite for lawyers who were really bothered about to file and represent their clients who the global Covid-19 movement restrictions affected within and outside Nigeria. The court orders ended the suspicions among Nigerian lawyers about the legal efficacy of virtual law practice in Nigeria, especially with the 5G Virtual Law Office Hybrid Integrated model. Among the lawyers who have been trained on how to set-up and use the law office are senior Nigerian lawyers including, a senior advocate of Nigeria, Paul Harris Ogbole, SAN, magistrates, prosecutors, university lecturers, etc. The model of law office with WhatsApp embedded links has also been endorsed by a prominent Canadian lawyer and founder of Danalix, Kingsley Jesuorobo, Esq. who marveled at the innovation and emphasized that the model of law office has now expanded the frontiers of law practice for not only lawyers in Nigeria, but also lawyers but from other parts of the world. He did not waste time to emphasize that the above in his paper presentation at the African Bar Conference in Niger Republic. Lawyers from the United States of America and beyond have also called the developer to discuss the innovation With the integrated hybrid website version now really released, it is hoped that hybrid legal practice will become a known culture of practice in the legal profession within and outside Nigeria in no distant time. The 5G Virtual Law Hybrid Integrated Team welcomes all lawyers to the new world of hybrid legal practice.
