Prof. Teddy Idiabeta Law Consult - RC:2946457 has been involved in virtual law practice for a very long time. The firm, through its principal consultant has trained over 1000 Nigerian lawyers on the setting up of their virtual law firms and how to ethically manage them with proven success. The principal consultant has also trained many lawyers across Nigeria on ODR mediation advocate practice. On 17th September, 2020, Prof. Teddy Idiabeta Law Consult in conjunction with the Absrelis Global-Initiative Dispute Resolution Centre successfully completed the ODR mediation advocate practice training and certification programme which was facilitated in real time from 14th August, 2020 to 3rd September, 2020 and supported by speakers from Dubai, UAE and California, United States of America as non-profit ODR mediation advocate practice consultants. 12 Nigerian lawyers were trained and certified as mediation advocates and online dispute resolution providers in Nigeria. They have been officially inducted as members of the Nigerian Forum of Certified Mediation Advocates and Online Dispute Resolution Providers. The training was organized to technologically prepare the lawyers for ODR practice part of which focus is to promote the realization of the ODR objectives of the African Free Trade Agreement and virtual law practice in Africa.
